Basic Policy of Respect for Human Rights

The Daiwa House Group declares in its Principles of Corporate Ethics its stance on respect for human rights: "We respect basic human rights and the dignity of all people, and do not discriminate against anyone on the grounds of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, sexual identity, presence / absence of disability, age, creed, or social status."
In addition, in January 2018, we established the " Human Rights Policy of Daiwa House Group " after understanding the responsibilities of companies stated in the UN "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights". This policy was formulated after resolution of the Board of Directors in December 2017 after obtaining advice from outside experts.

Under this basic policy, in order to allow each employee to conduct business activities that respects the fundamental human rights of stakeholders, in April of each year, we established a plan for human rights awareness raising activities we are notified so that we will take more than one training.

Our Vision on Human Rights Awareness-Raising

All corporate entities are required to respect human rights. The Daiwa House Group has been constantly carrying out activities to raise the employees' awareness of human rights.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Daiwa House Industry's founding, the employees expressed their wish to proactively take part in human rights awareness-raising activities, and adopted "Our Vision on Human Rights Awareness-Raising" to share their vision and orientation of action toward the future.
