The Legacy of Endless Heart
Up until March 2005, while Daiwa House Industry constituted the cornerstone of the Daiwa House Group, the different group companies pursued their own paths and had their own branding logos. We adopted our current Endless Heart symbol in 2005, the 50th anniversary of our founding. This symbol now serves as the centerpiece for all of our communications.
The symbol represents our bond with customers, the Daiwa House Group’s sense of unity, and the gentle heart that our bond embraces.
The “Endless Heart” shape, reminiscent of a Mobius Strip, expresses our unceasing Group efforts and endless growth and expansiveness.
The true circle at the center of the Heart represents the Group’s starting point and expresses harmony.
Reference: Mobius Strip
A symbol of continuity, a Mobius Strip is a long strip of material that has its two ends joined with a single twist so that the opposite sides run on to one another, thereby creating a single endless loop with no front or back side. The name Mobius Strip is in acknowledgement of its discovery by the German astronomer and mathematician August Möbius (1790 to 1868).
