Daiwa House Industry, whose business operations center on construction, has developed a vegetable-grower unit. This is a development story aiming to help “industrialize” agriculture.

Livness Town Project
This is a project to redevelop suburban housing complexes and other projects that were constructed a number of years ago. We try to put ourselves in the shoes of those who live there, and will maintain a close relationship with the communities and the residents' daily lives, so as to enhance the value of the communities and ensure they remain attractive places to live for many years more.
Community Development with 100% Renewable Energy
For the first time in Japan, we have created a community where 100 percent of the electric power used -- in everything from the original construction to the residents' daily lives -- comes from renewable energy sources.
A large-scale smart town where profits from selling electricity generated by the solar power generation facility of the town are used for the maintenance of single-family houses and other purposes, the first of its kind in Japan
A town (Kuwana City) that utilizes the proceeds from the sale of electricity from the town's solar power plant for maintenance of single-family homes.
The Decarbonization Challenge
We will accelerate our decarbonization efforts with the aim of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Daiwa Sakura Aid
This project aims to bequeath to future generations not only sakura (cherry trees) but also the “wa” (harmony) that is so cherished in Japan, primarily through the Yoshinoyama sakura conservation work.
