received in 2005 and 2006 have been removed from the order backlog.

・Orders for land for subdivisions increased, compared with a decline in the previous month.
・Orders for housing increased, compared with a decline in the previous month.
・Orders for home renovations increased, compared with a decline in the previous month.
・Orders for rental houses declined for the 3rd consecutive month.
・Orders for condominiums declined for the 12th consecutive month.
・Orders for commercial facilities declined, compared with an increase in the previous month.
・Orders for business and corporate facilities declined, compared with an increase in the previous month.

1. The above segments are based on "Orders received by segment" on P.13 of financial factbook 1st half of FY2009. We have omitted the segments “Real estate agency services, etc.” and “Resort hotels and golf courses” from the table, as these segments have minimal impact on total orders. However, the “Total” contains the figures of these two segments.
2. The figures for “Rental houses,” “Condominiums,” “Commercial facilities,” and “Business and corporate facilities” contain orders of land and buildings for sale.
