With the impact of the postwar baby boom, there is a shortage of elementary school classrooms. However, if extensions are built, it will be costly and after some years the rooms will lie empty. Isn't there a better solution?
The Movable Classroom developed from this sort of historical backdrop. The concept was for temporary classrooms to be built to accommodate the swollen grades of an elementary school and for these to be transferred as-is to a junior high school.
